Indoor cycling, often called spinning, is a high-energy, low-impact cardio workout on stationary bikes led by an instructor.
It combines sprints, climbs, and other challenging exercises to a motivating soundtrack.

Spinning provides and excellent cardiovascular workout that is easy on the joints (low-impact).
It can help improve endurance, build strength, burn calories, and boost your mood.

No experience is needed. Spin classes suit all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced cyclists.
Adjust the bike’s resistance to match your abilities and comfort.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking athletic clothing.
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Wear socks and if you do not have your own shoes with SPD cleats, you can use ours!
Do I need special shoes?
Shoes with SPD cleats are required on our bikes. We have many sizes available for you to use during class.
How long is a typical class?
Classes typically last 50 minutes. EVOride classes are a full 50 minutes on the bike. EVOpower and EVOsculpt classes are 25 minutes on the bike and 25 minutes of HIIT or barre exercises off the bike.
How many calories can I expect to burn?
A 50-minute spin class can burn anywhere from 300 to 600 calories, depending on factors like the individual’s weight, intensity of the workout, and specific class format.
How often should I attend spin classes?
The American College of Sports Medicine recommends 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise weekly.
Two to three spin classes per week is a good starting point for maintaining cardiovascular health, but we’d love to see you every day!
What if I can’t keep up or need a break during class?
It is acceptable to adjust your resistance and pace to suit your needs.
You can also sit down in the saddle and roll your legs at a comfortable pace to recover.
Always remember, you are stronger than you think!
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Members generally need to be able to comfortably reach the pedals and handlebars for safety and proper bike fit.
Anyone under the age of 18 will require a discussion with studio management and a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
